Salma is a Junior from Centreville, Virginia, pursuing a degree in Finance on a CFA route along with a minor in International Business. Salma joined the Investment Banking Group in April 2023. At school, Salma is also in SEED, club swim team, honors college, and Gamma Phi Beta. This past summer, she interned at RBC, where she rotated through the Alternative Assets Group and REPO team. On the AAG desk, she gained insight into various hedge fund strategies and learned how the REPO market operated and controlled rates. She is excited to apply her newfound knowledge and experience to her internship next summer at Goldman Sachs in their Equity Capital Markets division. Aside from IBG, Salma enjoys hiking with friends, reading, and swimming.
